From managing stress and worries to mastering anger and developing emotion literacy, we provide the tools and support your child needs to thrive emotionally.
This is sometimes the area that kids with "behavioural problems" (i.e., dysregulation) can benefit from support.
We are experienced in providing tailored support for children with diverse needs and disabilities, whether or not they are NDIS-funded. This includes suporting autistic and ADHD clients as well as those with learning disabilities, just to name a few!
We embrace a neuro-diverse affirming approach to ensure your child receives the compassionate and individualised care they deserve at THEIR pace in a pressure-free environment.
Our parenting support sessions provide parents with the tools and strategies they need to navigate the challenges of raising children. We help parents develop effective communication skills, set boundaries, and build healthy relationships with their children.
Parenting support can also assist with reducing a child's behavioural concerns or behavioural challenges (i.e., child's dysregulation).
We offer compassionate and evidence-based support for various mood disorders including anxiety and depression equipping you with effective and practical strategies to improve your emotional health and overall quality of life.
This includes sadness, separation anxiety, panic disorders, generalised anxiety disorder, school stress, life stressors in general or even if your child is scared of the dark, or just a little bit more nervous and hesitant than other children.
Sleep can be tricky for kids! It is a long time for them to go without their parent / caregiver and can be a difficult transition time.
Our tailored approach includes understanding sleep patterns, identifying underlying issues, and implementing effective strategies to improve your child's rest.
Sometimes we truly do just need someone else to talk to that isn't a family member or close friend. A Psychologist can help your child see things from a different perspective and shift mindsets that are getting them into difficult situations or bringing them down. Many children are faced with difficult day to day struggles and having a trusted person to talk to that isn't family can often help improve functioning just by having a safe space to vent.

An academic achievement assessment is a combined assessment to understand your child's cognitive and academic abilities compared to their peers to determine if they are needing extra support with their learning.
This type of assessment helps to explore diagnoses of specific learning disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia. It will also make recommendations of appropriate supports to help your child with these challenges.
This assessment uses the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Third Edition (WIAT-III)
We currently offer formal attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnostic assessments with recommendations for children and teenagers.
